Clean and tight.
Bass is tight and deep, and the level and crossover frequency controls made it easy to integrate with my Boston Acoustics CR65 stand mounted 2-way speakers (front) and CR5 (rear Dynaquad surround) speakers.Source for CDs is a Sony BluRay player. I power the rears with the amp section of a Harman Kardon HK 3090 receiver and the fronts with a Parasound HCA 800ii power amp. It's really an awesome little rig I paid less than $800 for used.

Sounds a little funny on my multichannel...
Sounds a little funny on my multichannel system; vague and "spacey" like some of the "remastered" CDs. I'll try it on my 2 channel system before passing final judgement.
