Hank Marvin : Hank Plays Holly CD

Great tunes played brilliantly..

I'm not normally a fan of instrumental versions of vocal hits so I have tended to ignore most of Hank Marvin's solo albums much as I do love his earlier Shadows material. I only became aware of this 1996 album very recently, after stumbling across a video where he describes and illustrates how he plays.This album features Hank's interpretations of some of Buddy Holly's most popular and loved songs. He brings his own inimitable style and virtuosity to these lovely tunes and I just wish I had found this CD twenty years earlier.
