I was very dissapointed with this cd. I remember the days of JB when he played with the Axis at small clubs. I saw him, the first time, in Salisbury MA at the Palace on 4th of July. He played an awesome set. I thought I would see hime no more when he left New England and headed to the west. (CA) I reheard him on King Biscuit from Houston and it was great. Most of this CD covers newer material. (1 old song) It sounded different ands felt different, even the song I new. This cd reminds me of watching AHL hockey players vs pros. AHL are always working to be a pro and leave nothing on the table to win, sort of like a mucisian just starting out.

AWESOME CD!!!
2 of 2 found this helpful Only one thing bad to say about this CD.... To SHORT! This cd was fantastic. I loved it. Boy did this bring back memories of the 70's. What a great band and story. Even the interview was great. Its neat to find out these tidbits of how songs were written and how the band survived the early days. I loved all the songs. What a great feel for the music "LIVE" They played very tight and with a lot of grit. Totally great!!!! Would love to hear more live. (like maybe a whole show!!)
