Way cool...
Somewhat bluesey, somewhat folky, but way cool and fresh...and with feeling. I bought this after hearing Time to Stand Still at a restaurant, and it didn't leave my CD player for weeks. And yes, it's back in again right now. I like all of the songs, but my favorites are Glad, Tried and Tempted, and what may be the best version of the traditional song, Angel Band.

What great talent!
1 of 1 found this helpful Although I've heard of Amy Winehouse for several years, I'd never knowingly heard her until the Paladium channel aired a concert of hers a couple of weeks ago. I had heard of Amy (in the news) and only paused on the channel to see who this gal is...to see what's all the fuss. I ended up watching the entire show. Several tims.
I now own Frank (Deluxe) and Back to Black (Deluxe), and enjoy immensely all that I've heard. I refer to her two albums as Greatest Hits 1 and Greatest Hist 2.
She is compared to many awesome female talents who preceeded her. Soulful, many evident influences. Yet she is very unique. It's hard to believe all of this from such a young artist. I want more...
