N64 Adapter Portable Video Game System Adapter & Game Saves

Best value for retro gamers (not collectors!)
Let's shed a little on light on what this cart is and then I'll explain briefly why you should buy this particular item. There is a famous guy who makes ALL kinds of flash carts for ALL kinds of systems...however they are expensive - and with good reason - due to being built well. This is a clone of that. Expect quality to be a little underwhelming, but it is by no means cheap feeling. You set the switch to the proper region, grab an SD card (8GB is fine) and copy over the files. I scoured the net but I couldn't find a good link to the software for this, but it does come with a disc. Pop that in a computer that can read CD/DVD format and the rest is very simple. After you copied the software (should be a folder on the root of the SD card called ED64P with a file in there called OS64P.v64) and placed some *LEGALLY OBTAINED ROM DUMPS*, you plug it in! It's that easy. It's you typical clone - bad engrish in the manual and all. The instructions are easy to follow though. There are some games that will not work on this but it is not the fault of this cart in particular, its just the way flash carts work. The main point that is not featured in the manual is the saving feature. It does save to SD so make sure you have a little bit of space on there (300MB should be more than enough for every single save game to exist, they max around 128KB). ***To save the game you MUST reset the console!!!!*** I played Pokemon Snap for about an hour, got some decent progress and I forgot to reset, I just powered off. Mistake. There was an older version of this product that required a cart plugged in the top - that is no longer the case. You just pop it in the N64, make sure the SD card is set up properly and play. No fuss. Overall, I highly recommend this device to a player, not a collector. If you want to just play the classics, this is the way to do it. The market for retro gaming is idiotically subject to highs/lows and you don't have to be a part of it. I've never owned an actual Everdrive64 but this does what I want and for 1/3 the cost of the Everdrive64. I do recommend this to a collector in certain conditions - if you do want to play and do not want to disturb your collection, then this will suit your needs. CIB collectors and sealed collectors will get to play their favorites without harming their collection quality.

Buy it. Its a good choice.
I love this router. So much I bought 2! It can very easily be flashed with DDWRT making it very advanced. I have 1 as my main router and 1 as a wireless bridge, allowing my gaming systems to have a wired connection if needed in the living room while my router is in my bedroom. It hasn't had any issues yet and its been running since I got it. Flashed it back and forth between stock and DDWRT a few times with no issues at all. I love Belkin. I love this router.
