Reads like a history of "how to make things haunted"

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and only lament that it isn't part of a multi-volume series. As someone who has never been to the Disney parks I loved being able to experience The Haunted Mansion from the comfort of my own home while learning much more than I ever expected about the struggles, victories, and unique touches that brought the ride to life. Well written, with beautiful pictures - this is one that Disney fans shouldn't hesitate to purchase.
