Doesn't work with all cards
The reader is a Zoweetek ZW-12026-1 with al Alcor Micro AU9540 chipset. It works great with credit cards and SIM cards.
However, even if Zoweetek (and Alcor Micro) pretend that this reader can read SLE4442 cards, I wasn't able to do it. None of the applications that I found (for both Windows and Linux) work with this reader.
I tried sending myself the ADPU usually used on several readers for synchronous cards, but the reader isn't resetting the card correctly, can't get an ATR out of it and doesn't do anything more. I don't know is it is a firmware bug or of the Alcor Micro AU9540 is using a different set of ADPU commands. Technical information on that chipset is impossible to find, and the Zoweetek support was not helpful.
So if you intend to use this reader to read SLExxxx type cards, I'd recommend to buy an ACR38U instead, those work well, and are well documented if you want to roll out your own tool.

Works perfectly
I fully tested the SD card and it is genuine. Bandwidth and capacity are the ones advertised.
