AC/DC if it ain't broke don't fix it
As a long time fan I consider AC/DC to be one of the greatest rock bands of all time.
With the recent history putting an end to the band I never expected a "real" new album.
I heard the rumours & when the album came out I had a listen, enjoyed it & then played it again & then again.
The last few albums have underwhelmed me but this is their best work since The Razors Edge in my opinion.
With the demise of some of the greats in recent times including Malcolm Young, Eddie Van Halen, Chris cornell it is good to know that AC/DC can still rock, putting bands less than half their age to shame. the production quality is great although very polished in my view but you understand why.
Brian sounds awesome belting out the songs like it was the 80s all over again!
Long live AC/DC 🤘
Have a listen & if you like it then buy a copy?
At this price it's less than a cup of coffee ☕ so a bargain too

He was the Greatest!
Although this is a little one sided it shows Ali through his family's point of view along with the views of his toughest opponents, George Foreman, Smokin Joe Frazier & Ken Norton.
Rest in peace Chanp! He will always be the Greatest!

AIC, Comeback Kings?
As a long time fan of both Grunge & AIC the comeback Black gives way to blue was a real gem of an album.
With the sad demise of many of the greats from the scene including the loss of Layne Stayley, Chris Cornell, Kurt Cobain, Sean Smith, Scott weiland & most recently Mark Lanegan to actually get one of these great Grunge bands back and to keep it going for over a decade is testament to how great a band they always were & still are.
Finding someone to sing for Layne is probably the most impressive feat since AC/DC hired Brian Johnson
Jerry sings more lead now but they still do the dual harmonies in the majority of the new material.
I think I prefer this album to the Devil put Dinosaurs here, I enjoyed it but Black gives way to Blue was such a tough act to follow my expectations might have got the better of me?
If you like the old AIC chances are you will like this too?
As far as I'm concerned the best Grunge bands we're AIC/Soundgarden even though everyone always says Nirvana, don't get me wrong I love Nirvana put their influences are punk, AIC/SG was Rock & Metal.
I am lucky that my musical preferences have filtered down to my Daughter & when she asked me about Grunge bands I started her off with AIC & Soundgarden.
So have a listen, if you haven't heard Black Gives Way then check that out too, if you like it then buy it?
Long may Alice in Chains & Pearl Jam keep flying the flag for Grunge!
Stone Temple Pilots too, even if their not from Seattle, I always considered them as Grunge after Core.
