Pretty remarkable for a $12 tool.
It took a little tinkering to get it to work, (o-ring in the hose blocking the air flow?), but I got it straightened out and it performed better than a $12 airbrush has any right to. Fairly broad coverage. Uniform atomization. I have at most minimal experience using an airbrush and yet I magically transformed a cheap, crummy sounding guitar into a cheap, crummy sounding guitar with a nice sunburst finish. Now I'm eyeballing any stuff around the house that might benefit from a change of color. My intentions must be obvious. I haven't seen the cat in days.

Just what I needed
1 of 1 found this helpful I gave this product the maximum 5 stars because it does exactly what I needed it to do, and it does so for very little money. I am not such an obsessive audiophile that I've run the output through an oscilloscope (or whatever tool one uses to measure such things) to scrutinize the signal for distortion. I judge the sound with, of all things, my ear. If the Pyle is degrading the signal, I can't hear it.
The receiver I am currently using does not have a pre-amp out, but I wanted to be able to channel my phono through my equalizer. This Pyle pre amp made that possible. There is no on/off switch so it is constantly on. If this is shortening the life span of the unit, that might be a problem, but it has functioned properly for about a month so far.

Low-profile audio cables
These sleek little cables not only fit into the small openings that won't accommodate a regular-sized cable, (my headphones, cell phone case), they are tough. I've inadvertently snag them on things many times, but they continue to work flawlessly. i'm impressed.
