Short-circuit upon first used
I took this with me on a trip to Thailand. I used an adapter to connect it to the power socket and after a few seconds use I realised it was overheating and also noticed what appeared to be a spark or flame in the back of the device. Fortunately no damage was done to my hair, but I am disappointed after spending $50 on this item.
