The Shure sm 11 is the perfect banjo mic.
I have these mics on all my banjos.... I think I have 6 of them now. I strap them on with zip ties. and use a leather piece (used belt cutting) for the xlr jack. (punch holes in for a zip tie on that too.) The extra wires go inside the banjo and zip tied there as well. The mic is strapped to a tension hook facing down, 1/2 inch from the sound hole. this provides good close mic placement , without distortion....and no feedback. I have used this mic for live performance for years, and it even has been used for recording as they mixed the signals from the sm11 and the recording mic. One major benefit.... is there is no off axis problem.... as the mic level is fixed no matter where you move.... this can be used with a remote wireless transmitter as well. It acts like a standard Cardioid mic, and does not need phantom power, or battery like a condenser type mic.

This is a real scanner....
This is an incredible product. I have one at home, and I got one for my customer (I am a computer tech)
I just finished scanning a 500 page music book, both sides, to 1 PDF file so I can use it on my ipad. I did it with 10 pages at a time.... I am also scanning notes and things that I may need to look back on, and I don't have to worry about where did I put the paper.
I installed it at the clients office to one computer, and then connected to the network via a wireless connection. now all the computers can go to the scanner and with some easy steps, scan to their computer for files or email. It even has a maint. counter to tell you when to change the rollers.
If you have printers, and need something to scan mltp. pages with accuracy, this is the ticket.

Best case on the market
I have this on my phone and just purchased one for my friend.
It is the best case I have found.... I Have dropped my phone 4 or 5 times out of my pocket, onto the garage floor, with no damage.... or cracking or anything.... this case I believe saved my phone. Great design, and easy to put on.
