Cant get this item to operate, power on on unit and remote but nothing worki g.
Charged unit up and put batteries into remote control , and all lights coming on but unit just not working., no connection between unit and remote control.

Thank you for the GPS
One thing I am NOT HAPPY about I requested North America to be installed on the unit as I was travelling there and wanted to use it. No Maps installed for Either USA or Canada. The item arrived after I had departed some 8 weeks after purchasing it and I only arrived back from my overseas trip a few days ago . Had intentions of using it next year but useless with out the maps I needed and requested.
