18-Wheeler: American Pro Trucker Just Okay
0 of 1 found this helpful After playing this game in an arcade, my boys (ages 6 & 8) really wanted it, so I purchased it from EBAY. Even though there is an "arcade" mode, it just wasn't the same, and definitely not as good as they had hoped it would be. They still play it on occasion, but they were definitely not as happy with it as I thought they would be. It is a little more difficult for my younger child, so he gets frustrated with it and just wants to quit playing. My older one will sit and play it some, but if he wants to play an 18-Wheeler game, he's now discovered the "Trick My Truck" game on CMT's website, which he really likes. If I had it to do again, I probably would not buy this game, just because they just don't play it very much.

PS2 Return of the General Lee
I bought this game for my boys because they received a PS2 for Christmas, and this was one of the games on their wish list. My boys love the game, but there are a couple of down sides. You must use a memory card in order to unlock the 2 player mode (we didn't have a memory card initially, but purchased one for this reason). Also, the instruction booklet doesn't give the greatest explanation on how to get certain things unlocked. Overall though, they have loved the game, and it has been more of a challenge since they have had to figure out parts of it on their own. I would have given it an excellent rating, if it wasn't for the lack of clearly showing what you have to do to unlock certain things in the game.

ATV Offroad Fury (PS2) great for younger players!
1 of 1 found this helpful My 6 & 8 year old boys LOVE this game! They also have ATV 4 (newest release) and they almost always prefer the original over the newest release. It's definitely an easy, fun game and great for this age range. They especially love the freestyle mode where they aren't racing, or on any kind of time limit so they can practice stunts and just have fun. I can see how an older child might not think this game is challenging enough, but I highly recommend it for younger kids anyway.
