Heavy metal yeah, heavy bore too.

It would help if it was in any way well written or the narrator was at all charismatic. How can a ghost writer and someone who's had a life like Iommi turn out such turgid junk?

Herron becoming complacent?

Once again the writing is up to a very high standard but Spook Street is formulaic. It fits the pattern well but not in a good way. It seems to me The mercurial Herron needs to kill off the goose that laid the golden egg and take us to pastures new.
