A satisfying piece of the Lonesome Dove saga
Shocking, over-the-top barbarian violence, and some characters' back stories don't fit with the Lonesome Dove movie - (Pea Eye and Laurie?). But I love the whole saga, while I have not read the books. Meets my expectations, having started with Dead Man's Walk and Comanche Moon.

Comanche Moon title is appropriate. Shadow Riders title is okay
Loved seeing the prequels to Lonesome Dove for the story line. But the violence - sometimes extremely barbaric - makes me wonder if the most extreme really happened in reality. Also reminds me how we stole this country from the Indigenous Peoples as if we had a right to it.
Had seen Shadow Riders before and loved it for both the story and the beloved actors.
Broken Trail wasn't in this used DVD set.

A fitting beginning for those Texas Rangers.
Was intrigued to see the beginning of the Lonesome Dove saga. It satisfied in every way.
