Poor quality, not even brightness

I purchased this unit as a backup in case my Epson bulb failed. It did, so I installed this unit. Very disappointed in the evenness of its brightness. There is a distinct line that runs across the screen. From that point up, the image is slightly dimmer than the bottom half of the image. I would not recommend this unit, except for a VERY temporary solution.
