Make sure you turn the adjustment screw A LOT
1 of 1 found this helpful When I first tried this, I was very frustrated. I was putting about 10-12 V IN and getting roughly the same out. I tried moving the adjustment screw, but the output voltage did not change. Then I said, what the hell, just crank it until she won't go no more! That did it. I had to turn it counterclockwise dozens of times to get the 9V out that I wanted.
After that, all is great!

Nice Rack (hahaha)
This is a great rack. Very light to carry when putting on the car compared to the heavy steel racks. Easy to mount two normal road bikes. Mountain or kids or other crazy bikes I have no idea, you'd probably need some cross bar attachment.
