Premiertek HDMI HDCP 2.2 to 1.4 and 1.4 to 2.2 Converter 2-Way UHD DVD TV 4K2K
    06 January 2019
Converted 2.2 to 1.4, including 60 Hz. Impressive. But died in 3 weeks
Used between Oppo UDP-203 or Roku Ultra (both 4K HDCP 2.2) and Onkyo TX-NR929 receiver (HDCP 1.4) followed by a 4K TV. Good: worked as described at 24 and 30 Hz input settings. Interestingly, kept working with 5V power cable removed. Bad: failed at 50 and 60 Hz. Verdict: a keeper, considering most source media is 24 or 30 Hz. But disappointed with incorrect description promising 60 Hz. Update: more testing revealed Onkyo was the problem, not passing more than 30 Hz. Premiertek converter worked well at 60 Hz when tested with a different HDCP 1.4 sink that accepts 60 Hz. Amazing little device! Update 2: The device died after less than a month of service.
