Plann8ng and constructing Boulder, renamed Hoover Dam in the Lower Colorado River.
The content is resonably priced and compelling for me. This softcover book had an original price tag of $17.99 and was sold at the dam.
2020 marked the centenary of envisioning and planning the dam. 2031 will mark the start of construction. For better and worse, this dam changed our nation and planet as one of the largest civil engineering projects in human history.
I live in a region greened, enriched and inhabited from the result of dammung the Colorado and spreading it's waters. Compelling and Valuable for me.
