Excellent Patchbay
The Switchcraft series of TT/DB25 patchbays are the best that I've encountered. The build quality is great, and the best feature is that the normal switches are right on the front for every channel, making it extremely easy not only to set your normals, but quickly see what each channel is currently set to.
The 1625 is great if you only require 8 channels at a time, as it's a more economical way to go, depending on your needs. I also have the rackmount unit that goes with it, and I now have 5 of the 1625 units to fill it. While a full 5 units is actually pricer in the long run than getting the StudioPatch 9625, it does allow you to spread the cost out.
My only complaint is with the 1625rack that houses these units. Switchcraft should have made it a full 3 rack units, instead of 2 1/2-ish, which leaves a gap in your rack.
Other than that, I highly recommend this unit.
