A legacy printer that still pulls its weight.

This printer is a replacement for the same model. Though 11 years old, I elected to try to find a replacement rather than a new (or newer) model. My experience is that older HP's (like the classic HP Laserjet II & III printers) held up mechanically, were more reliable (over time) and easier to maintain than newer models so I decided to simply replace mine (it experienced hardware failure) if possible. This printer was a snap to set up (switch out cables and load ink cartridges). Since I already had the driver for it loaded all I needed to do was connect the network cable, enter the IP address and I was up and running. Other than a few cosmetic blemishes it works as expected with no issues. For me, it was a good purchasing decision.
