Gateway ADC-320 Network Media Player
I purchased the ADC-320 mainly due to the great price, after searching for a good quality networked media player for quite some time.
The ADC-320 required a network card (pcmcia) be installed, so I installed a Linksys wireless card, which was simple. However, the ADC-320 was a little difficult to setup, mainly due to a problem with the included server software. The software installed just fine on my PC, and the ADC-320 would detect the network/server, but would not connect no matter what settings I tried, and I tried them all. After many hours of trial and error I ended up downloading Netgear AV Media Server and installing it in place of Gateways default software, and everything was up and running in no time. I would recommend skipping the installation of the Gateway server software and getting the Netgear Media Server software instead, and save yourself some time and headaches!
The unit works well enough once everything is setup, and the quality is fair, but it is somewhat limited in the files it supports. Maybe future firmware updates will improve this, although I am not sure if this unit is still being supported and upgraded at this time. The built in dvd-player is also convenient for those that don't already have a dvd-player as part of their entertainment system, or those that want a sort of "all-in-one" solution. Being able to play dvd's as well as stream videos and pictures across your home network is very convenient, although I don't use the built in dvd player that much since I have several stand-alone players including an HD-DVD unit.
On a 1 to 10 rating with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best, I would give this unit a 6 or 7 overall. After the initial hassle during setup, it is a fairly simple unit to use, and integrates well into my home entertainment system. If I had to do it all over again, I would probably spend more money and buy a unit with support for more file formats, but in the grand scheme of things the ADC-320 should be more than sufficient for most households looking to stream family photos, home movies, etc. to their home theater system over their network.

Reasonable Price with Multiple Monitor support
1 of 1 found this helpful I was previously using a GeForce GT 710 which is very similar, but I was looking for a card that supported 3 monitors simultaneously which THIS GT 730 does quite well. I now have two 21" monitors and a 40" monitor connected to the GT 730 and it does what I needed. I would definitely recommend this card to anyone looking for a reasonably priced graphics card with 3 monitor support.
