Mishimoto MMHOSE-TT-99BK Silicone Radiator Hose Kit Fits Audi TT 1999-2006 Black

Great quality but not a direct fit
I purchased these hoses to go along with my Mishimoto aluminum performance radiator. Only one of my old hoses was damaged, but I decided to replace all three. Interestingly, the radiator was not specifically designed for my car, it’s for a 99-02 VW Golf, but can be installed in my car, a 2001 Audi TT with some modifications, but I didn’t even have to do any of those modifications, and the radiator fit perfectly. However, these hoses WERE specifically designed for a 2000-2006 Audi TT, yet I still had to trim one of the hoses, otherwise the upper radiator hose assembly would contact the fan. Not a huge deal, but it should be the correct length out of the box. Additionally, since these hoses are thicker than the original ones, you cannot reuse the old clamps, so you have to buy new ones separately. It would be nice if the kit came with new clamps. Overall, I’m still happy with the product itself. I trust Mishimoto’s quality and their lifetime warranty is unbeatable.
