Frame is thin metal, fan is noisy.
I paid more for a metal-framed fan because I thought it would be stronger than plastic, but it has already become dented on top from gently lowering a window on it to keep it securely in place. This has happened more than once so I know it was not just an accident, plus no one touches the fan except me.

Doesn't tame my frizz
It didn't help my frizz, but summer humidity is a huge problem for my hair; maybe others have better luck with it. I'll probably go back to using Loma's Nourishing Oil Treatment...seems to work for me a little better.
