Don't sleep!
The irony is that today I was sent a request to review this item when I am wearing them....I am a sneaker collector.
This is my first time drifting away from the typical most worn 574 New Balance model. This Pin Ball 1600 Elite model collection is fire! I never really questioned New balance comfort too much. But these are more comfortable than the 574 model. I'd say look around to find a colorway you like. Whether you like the color or not the comfort will definitely be there for the 1600 model.
This model has an Abzorb heel at the back and if you wear 574's often you will notice the difference instantly on the first on foot. The materials on this Pin Ball red suede/nubuck edition is super smooth. The fabric is long haired and is of lux like quality. The mid sole paint is not splashed on cheaply with a paint brush. The traction is good for what the intended purpose of the shoe is meant for...running. I wear mines casually and jogged a few times (not intensely) from one side of a building to the other. No blisters, rashes, or back heel damage was done.
I prefer a snug fit personally. If you have a slim foot go down half a size. If you have a wide foot you should be fine with your regular size.(Pick your regular 574 model size).
All in all, this is a great shoe. the kiddos will be sleeping on this since it isn't Jordan or Adidas so prices shouldn't be outrageous.

Classic 94-95 kicks!
Classic clean and legendary! This 2017 version is not true to the og completely unfortunately. Go true to size. If your wide go a half size up.
