I was exceedingly pleased and pleasantly surprised with the item when I received it. Its nice to see an original box for an older motherboard as well as a Driver and Application DVD.( I am still a purist as it relates to how my drivers are provisioned)Item was exactly as described.Wonderful experience altogether.I would not only shop with this seller again, but I highly recommend this seller to all others on eBay!Simply Splendid!!!-NKS-

Good value if you can find one at a decent price.
I bought this processor to replace my old S754 Sempron 3000+, as I was hoping the increased cache (512KB of the Athlon 64 3200+ vs 128KB on the Sempron) and higher core speed (2000MHz/2GHz vs 1800MHz/1.8GHz) would give me a noticeable boost in speed and smoother computing experience. Well, and that it would perform better in benchmarks and multitasking. Also, I had heard that Venice cores ran cooler than the Newcastle or Clawhammer chips (90nm vs 130nm manufacturing process). I was surprised by just how much faster it actually is. On SuperPi 1m on the old Sempron 3000+ the fastest it could finish the task was 50s, the Athlon 64 3200+ completed it in 41s on the first run. Prime95 goes faster as well, completing tests in 3-4 minutes, whereas my Sempron took 5-7 minutes per test usually. It also seems much faster on boot up and in general use. Temperature-wise the Venice core of the Athlon runs at about the same temps as the Palermo core of the Sempron with the stock cooler and AS5 thermal compound (idle temps at 32-34°C and load temps of 47-51°C), which doesn't surprise me, since they are both made based upon the 90nm manufacturing process. Bottom-line is I'd recommend this processor if you are trying to extend the life of an old Socket 754 system, or resurrect one. Shame though is that these Venice cores aren't the easiest ones to find on here, as most of the 754 processors on here are either Clawhammers' or Newcastles'.

This game just never gets old. Was fun back then, and still is today.
This game was fun the first time I played it back in 2004/2005, and well, after not having played it for a long time I got the urge to play it again, so I set about looking to buy a copy here on eBay. I've got to say, this game is just as much fun today as it was the first time I played it six or seven years ago. Even years later I do not feel that to me it has lost one bit of its appeal or that the fun factor has diminished. I don't know what it is really that makes the combination of racing, crashing, taking out your opponents, and explosions that makes up this game so good. My only guess is that they got the combination just about perfect with Burnout 3. About the only things I don't like about the game are the in-game camera angles for crashes, as they often give you shots which are in the opposite direction of where you want to after-steer your car, and that the gold medals on the "burning laps" are so difficult to achieve. If it weren't for those little things I'd give it a five-star rating.

Cheap, easy and fun to overclock, not bad for a file server or backup PC.
Very nice CPU. The one I got overclocked very easily to 2.8GHz and runs nice and stable with a very minor voltage increase (1.4V). Even runs fairly cool at that speed (with an aftermarket upgraded CPU heatsink and fan). These are fun to play with and overclock for better performance, fairly cheap usually too. Performance isn't too bad for something like a file server, print server, or just plain backup PC in case your main PC is down for repairs. Not the fastest CPU in the world anymore, but it's decent if you're not doing anything too CPU intensive. I wouldn't use one for PC gaming, but it's reasonable for a basic web browsing, emailing, and MS Word/Excel document creating PC.
