Early warning device
I burnt out an alternator on my Triumph half way down France, I didn't realise until some miles later the bike started to misfire and then stop. I fitted an ammeter to hopefully prevent the surprise, which is fine on an old Brit, no where to fit on a more modern bike. This gadget is ideal, you can tuck it away easily and it's obvious if something is going wrong, so you can find a good place to stop and wait for help or take stock of the situation, maybe stay at your current abode if you're touring. Charging systems and batteries have a habit of failing slowly,with this you know straight away and can plan your course of action,reccomend.
