Problems using from Windows Laptop or Desktop.
I wanted to use the camera from a Laptop PC not from a Phone. The CMS software for desktop PC use is clunky. It often locks up on both windows 7 and Windows XP. And does not allow full configuration of the camera parameters. Such as WiFi SSID and Alarm settings, email settings etc. using the LAN Port. There is no clear information how to set up to view the camera using a desktop PC over the Internet WAN side. Cant seem to stream video directly from the camera IP Address using a Web Browser. Another camera brand I purchased can stream video directly to Firefox and Internet Explorer Web Browser. Still struggling with the above configuration problems. The Technical support have so far been unable to provide a simple utility program to simply make all the settings. They dont seem to have one of these cameras set up themselves with a Windows PC to try to help. Maybe using the camera from a phone is the only really practical way to use this product. That would be my biggest disappointment as I dont want to use a phone. The CMS Viewing Software kind of works. When its not locking up. Picture quality is very good. Pan and tilt works quite well from the CMS Dektop PC software.
