Refurb = far better value than new part for vehicles of this age/mileage

Pretty easy to install with deep socket tools, fixed transmission code on 2007 Mazda3, and core deposit was refunded promptly.

Good device

Bought to replace the tower of an absurdly expensive Dust Deputy that cracked after being left outside in the sun for a few weeks (they are not UV resistant). This has a different bolt hole pattern, and no foam gasket, so the bucket lid and DD foam gasket had to be redrilled to fit (easy). The fitting diameters are just a shade larger than those of my Shop Vac so a bit of filing and some Gorilla Tape had to be applied to make it work (annoying). I wonder if this one was built to metric rather than to English/American sizes. But it works well. I am surprised these devices aren't more widely manufactured, they are a huge convenience compared to screwing around with filthy shop vac bags that get constantly clogged with dust.

Amazing for waterline stains (rust, tannin)

THE BEST product for getting brown tannin stains off of fiberglass boat waterlines after haulout. I live dangerously and put it into a spray/stream bottle, and scrub lightly with a stiff brush, but if you do that WEAR EYE AND FACE PROTECTION because this is a strong acid and is dangerous to touch or breathe directly.
