I believe that every vintage amplifier and receiver that enjoyed popularity and high praise once, can attain that again with a little TLC, patience and some knowledge of how common circuits work. My goal is to restore as many amplifiers, pre-amplifiers, integrated amps and receivers as I can and to provide them to buyers at a reasonable cost. Way too many have been thrown out with the trash as repair shops either didn't want the work or the user wasn't able to locate a repair shop that they could afford the cost of the repair. Today's "Modern Video Amplifiers" are manufactured as disposable so that the user buys another when the unit malfunctions. The units manufactured in 60's,70's and 80's were built for the most part with the tech in mind and are very much repairable are can be with minimal effort. Lets keep these out of the land fills.

Worth the wait and cost
This is a great 65 watt amp! These are getting harder to find but are worth being patient and waiting for one in good condition. This amp has many features, great sound and good looks. They are getting very expensive though which means that they are just going to keep going up in value. The only thing that needs changing on them is the speaker binding clips. I replaced mine with banana binding posts so that 12 gauge wire or banana posts could be used.

Needs lights
This is a good receiver that could have been designed a little better as far as the lighting goes. There is no lighting on the dial face except for the pointer. I think that a row of LEDs across the top could be added without too much work.

Great tapes
These are as good as you can find other than metal tape. I have used these for many years with good success. The highs are well defined with good bass response and minimal tape hiss.
