Aftermath
As a voracious reader who enjoys planet wide catastrophes I chose this novel at the recommendation of a friend. Many of the happenings in this novel make this book quite unique and an excellent read. Not only does it show the severe damage that can be done in our electronic age by an EMP blast, but it answers such growing issues as what to do about the growing prison population and the enormous cost of running such archaic, non-rehabilitating systems. The book is fast paced and uses public knowledge that is not widely known in our country, as well as showing the fruitful treatments for cancers that are just now being researched. All in all Charles Sheffield does a superb job of blending a planet wide disaster, our abilities to overcome the consequences, and the hopes for our future into a well written novel that will give many hours of intense thrills and thought provoking ideas.

Chapterhouse Dune
As a huge fan of Frank Herbert and science fiction in general this is perhaps the best of the Dune series written by the late Herbert. Many millenium after Paul Altreides ascension to Emperor, this follow up of "Dune Heretics" is a must read for anyone who enjoys the possible galactic futures that may engulf mankind. The intense novel that revolves around the Bene Gesserit witches and their unique outlook into the universe of man, as well as their defense of the old empire against a new, almost overwhelming threat, is completely enthralling. The characters are alive, and the descriptions of the Bene Gesserit sisterhood are simply not to be missed. Herbert manages, while showing us clearly the differences and unique talents of the witches, to again give a keen insight into mankind as a whole. I have personally spend many a contented and thought provoking hour re-reading this spectacular novel.

Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid -Hot Men
I found this sequel to be even better than the first. With an excellent storyline and superb performances from the actors it is a riveting movie of action, horror, and betrayal for greed. And just as noticeable is the fact that there are 5 examples of gorgeous men who do a superb job of representing there different ethnic and educational background. I watch this movie repeatedly for the direction and superb performances, but also for the good looking eye candy that this move exudes.
