Not your little kid pencils!
2 of 2 found this helpful Very impressive quality. The pencil shafts are made of cedar, pretty fine grain. The color pencil component is a water color base. This allows for such things as correcting mistakes, blending colors on paper, etc. I tried a Q-tip with one drop of water and acheived very nice effects. Spectacular color depth.

Fun movies, bad transfers
1 of 1 found this helpful The three Gidget movies are a welcome change from today's moviegoing fare. It's all good light hearted fun filled with great locations. Each of the three actresses portraying Gidget have their own qualities. It's a shame that the mastering to DVD was so poorly done. Characters in dialogue have half their heads cut off due to the formatting from Panavision to whatever they used. Beautiful second unit photography is cut and poorly cropped for the same reason. But, it still has charm that can't be beat. If you've been to any of the locations (Malibu, Hawaii, or Rome) you'll recognize the usual classic locations, but from 50 years ago.
I chose to ignore the issues and just have fun!

A Bit Disappointing
1 of 1 found this helpful The gag is pretty funny and the cats are quite cute. But, the quality of the photo is not great. It's a bit pixelated. The photo is printed onto a magentized rubbersheet. The magnet itself is pretty weak. It will stick to a steel surface OK, but the ends have a tendency to curl up a bit.
Overall, a good laugh, but a let down quality-wise...
