Great OEM Product!
Great OEM replacement product! As far as removal of old shifer knob, this is best video I found which shows how to accomplish the task. Just snap the bottom part of the knob (see attached picture), then twist & pull straight off. Installation of the new shifter is a matter of just snapping on the shifter rod.

Original OEM replacement part!
Good replacement because it's an OEM part. The plastic overlay peeled off my original part after a visit to a car wash The instruction sheet did not help with installation. I found a YouTube which explains the process for Ford Edge model installation. I have a 2013 Ford Edge SEL.
