The seller went above and beyond to help with my purchase as, originally, it was collection only but she did offer to post this out to me as I live 280 miles away from the seller. The plates arrived today and they were expertly wrapped and in good condition. The seller even put a card in the parcel saying that she hoped the intended recipient enjoyed the plates! Bugs Britannica

Once you have identified your 'bug' (invertebrates ranging from Porifora to Urochordata) this book gives you an insight into the animal's name and folklore. I would call it 'a charming read' as it is beautifully written and has a wealth of information about the (mostly) British history of the animals. It is not a 'science book' with facts and figures, but I have loved reading it. I am always tempted to read more than I wanted to look up.
