Poor filter fit

Hi,
I purchased this ASTRAL HURLCON ZX200 REPLACEMENT CARTRIDGE FILTER ELEMENT from recently,and I have found an issue with this item that is causing me problems.
Principally the issue stems from the hole diameter at each end which appears to be roughly 2 mm. larger than standard. I noticed when I first installed the filter that it was difficult to get it to stand up straight to allow me to fit the filter lid, then over a week or so I noticed it wasn't filtering very effectively.
Upon close inspection it appears that these filters need to be an interference (push) fit at both ends, there is no "end plate" effectively in the housing, they just sit on four ribs. It appears the end holes in the product supplied are large enough to allow a fair bit of bypass.
I have refitted my old spare filter (I keep two), and the pool is now clear.
