Average Game ***RENTAL***
Enchanted Arms is a capable and often enjoyable role-playing game, but it's also one that you'll likely forget as soon as you finish it. The Good: Surprisingly natural, funny dialogue for a role-playing game; unique battle system is fun and challenging; the collectible golems are all unique and useful. The Bad: Awful English voice acting; too much tedious backtracking through large, vacant, and uninteresting areas; aside from some flashy battle animations, the visuals are unimpressive; it's frequently difficult to get a good view of the battlefield; sixaxis control features feel silly and out of place. Given the chance, I would rent this game instead of buying.

Reason Alone to Buy a PSP
Grand Theft Auto has finally come out on the PSP, and quite simply, it's not just a great game, it's the best game on the PSP. This is the reason you bought the PSP. Graphics: 10/10 The graphics are amazing. It's hard to believe the PSP is actually able to pump out these sort of graphics (especially so early in the handheld's life), but it's true. The cars, people, buildings, streets, it's ALL good, with very little clipping or graphical hiccups (though there are some pop-up issues, but they are not that bad). In fact, if you ever played GTA III on PS2, GTA: LCS actually surpasses it in terms of graphically quality. Simply amazing. Audio: 10/10 That's right, another perfect score. The entire game is voice acted, and very well. The pedestrians talk and make comments, and the sound effects are amazing. However, the best part of GTA: LCS audio is the radio while you're driving. The humor of the previous GTA's return (Along with the always funny Lazlow!), as well as the great music selection, some famous artists (like DJ Clue) and some artist's I never heard of, it doesn't matter. It's all great. Story: 8.5/10 The story in GTA: LCS is solid, but not as good as the PS2 GTA's. Playing as Tony Cipriana is fun, and finding out how he rose in the ranks of the Leone family is great, but some of the supporting cast (and the reason for doing their missions) is weak. Occasionally, you will run across a NPC who gives you missions, and you'll think "why the hell am I doing missions for this guy?", and you'll never find out. Overall though, the story is good. Game play: 9.5/10 The only reason Game play did not get a 10/10 is because of the controls. If you played GTA before, you know what to expect. The missions are fairly varied and rather fun, and driving the vehicles is simply a blast. There are also TONS of optional missions for you to partake in (Taxi, Vigilante, Car salesman, Delivery boy, rampages, ect.) are just running around the world, driving fats in your car and doing crazy jumps is just plain fun. Overall: 10/10 Despite the wacky 'on foot controls' and the slightly less than stellar story (compared to the PS2 GTA's) this is the best game on PSP, period. You will get hours upon hours of enjoyment out of this, and will come back for more. Finally, the PSP has its killer app.

Shadowrun **EXCELLENT ONLINE SHOOTER**
Well, Shadowrun is finally out and I have to say its ALOT funner than it looks. If you see gameplay videos, it looks stale and hard to control. Well that is not the case. Here I will begin my review on Shadowrun. Graphics: 7/10 While the graphics are not Gears of war, they are still decent and look purty at times, especially maelstrum map. You can tell what the weapons are and whatnot, and I happen to like the art style very much. Reminds me of timesplitters in a way. Gameplay: 10/10 If you watch some gameplay video's of shadowrun, they look boring and stale on paper. You have to actually play the game to understand this type of fun factor. The only complaint I have about it is the learning curve. While steep it is really easy once you get a hang of it. And unlike other fps games, this game includes weapons with magic and tech with almost entirly different battles with other people or bots. And this isn't a mindless run and shoot anything you see type of game. This game you actually have to be smart to play if you want to outwit your enemies and survive. Imagine Magic + FPS + Counterstrike and you have shadowrun gameplay. :) Story: 4/10 While there is basically no story what so ever hardly. If you watch the intro, you can sort of understand what is going on. The intro is really cool to watch imo. Well I can't really describe anything on the story since there basically isn't one. Replay Value: 8/10 While there is hardly no content, online multiplayer will keep you coming back. This game is really one of the best games I ever played. Almost every match is totally different with the races, magic, and tech and whatnot. Overall: 9/10 If you have live this is the online game for you. You will spend countless hours having a huge blast with this new fps twist gameplay type at your hands. If you don't have live, well there are bots you can play with. The bots have astounding AI. They revive, tell you there location, teleport, and all that good stuff.
