The Frighteners DVD is frighteningly good.
3 of 3 found this helpful Chances are, you've already seen the movie and are wondering if it's worth a DVD purchase. The answer is a resounding yes. This was my first chance to see the widescreen version of the movie and it really looks great, but the real winning thing here is the special features.
There's around 3 hours of Peter Jackson, Micheal J. Fox, and the rest of the cast talking about the movie. You will keep hearing them refer to LaserDisc, as all this footage is from before DVD's existed, but Peter had the foresight to think people would be interested in the "How things were done" aspect of the movie. There are lots of deleted scenes, how they did the special effects, etc.
I was extremely pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoy a quirky horror/comedy movie.

Excellent high-end figure.
Pricey but worth every penny. Great movement and he holds the heavy back piece pretty well, though the stand is really needed for dynamic posing, which he excels at.
