Water-free safe sewage treatment techniques
1 of 1 found this helpful This book is an important look at water-free sewage treatment. Millions die around the world yearly due to sewage in drinking water. Properly treated in very hot, "thermophilic" compost piles, human waste can be a safe, pathogen-free fertilizer, instead of a disease carrying contaminant in our water systems. Anybody concerned with waning water supplies, drought, water-bourne illnesses and soil fertility should read this well researched, vital book.
I bought this book as a gift to an engineer going to develop water treatment systems in Somalia, however the ideas are totally applicable in the US and all other countries as well.
