Enzotech SLF-30 Low Profile Pure Copper Northbridge Heatsink
23 October 2019
Compact yet Effective
EDIT: Changed to 5 stars since this seems like a high quality fan. I can get it to start turning at 3 volts which works good for my setup. If I ever need another one I will not hesitate to buy it. ORIGINAL POST: This heat sink is meant for use in PC's to replace the stock heat sink for the northbridge chip. However, I bought this to eliminate a flaw in my Vizio TV because the dimensions matched what I needed. The main processor on my TV ran so hot that it left a scorch mark on the board and eventually quit working even with the (really tiny) factory heat sink. I installed this on my new board and tapped in to the 12 volt supply feeding the board. Despite its size, this fan really moves some air without making very much noise and the processor is ice cold now. I'm considering lowering the voltage feeding the fan since it really doesn't need to be running full blast all the time. In PC applications, this can easily be adjusted in your BIOS settings. My only complaint is the price. I paid $40 for this considering it is really tiny. However, it is all copper which tends to be more expensive than aluminum.   Bottom line: this heat sink is compact and effective at what it does and would make a great addition for your cooling needs especially in restricted spaces.

Works better than the Mic on my Smartphone
This mic seems really good. It comes with a few attachments to accompany your needs for whatever vehicle you are driving whether that place be an air vent, on your dashboard or steering column. The mic can be removed from the attachments in case it needs to be removed for any vehicle work (ie. removing the dashboard) while leaving the attachments in place. This is important to me being a DIYer. The cable is long enough to reach most areas of the driver side giving you some good flexibility. This is a universal mic so you can connect it to anything that has a mic input. I have mine attached to a Qualcomm CSR8645 module that I added to my factory head unit. Audio quality is pretty good. Several people have told me they can hear me better than the internal mic of my smartphone. The mic is sensitive enough to pick up whatever sounds are coming through the speakers causing a noticeable echo on the other end of the line. However, this may be an issue with the bluetooth module I am using. Pros: small, long cable, variety of attachments Cons: no noise cancellation
