Un Chien Andalou/L'Age D'or.
I first saw these films during the 80's and its been since then that I hav'nt seen them. I'm so glad that I purchased them now to watch as and when. These avent garde wonders of cinema still hold and shock in both content and cinematography, especially when they where made in 1929 & 1930 respecifly. If you hav'nt seen them I strongly advise you to. A main constituent to these are the added bonus of Robert Short's commentary. Watch and be amazed at Dali and Bunuels sensual, shocking and deeply subversive masterpieces. A divine visual orgy.

Flame tree's of Thika.
I watched Flame Tree's of Thika first time around in early 80's. Watching it now and still love it. Young Holly Aird stars in it and thought at time she will do o.k. acting in future. Its well adapted from Elspeth Huxley's book. Years later my daughter is now going to watch it, as she was not even born when it was on T.V. So glad programmes like this are out so the younger generation can enjoy too.
