Interesting cassettes for Soundwave
This was my first purchase of a KFC product. I currently have all the Takara Masterpiece cassettes for Soundwave, so I was looking forward to completing Soundwaves' Minions. Both cassettes come complete with an instruction paper, collector card made of lightweight cardboard, plastic storage case, and weapons for each cassette.
B-Box is a good representation of the G1 Beast Box. This tape transforms into a gorilla, and can combine with the Birdbomber cassette. B-Box does have articulated arms and legs, and is equipped with 2 weapons that can be mounted on his back. The plastic is of a lightweight quality, so some care should be used to transform. There are small pegs, and sliding joints, that could break with excessive force. The colors are a good representation of The original G1 figure. The only bad thing is there is not much detail or paint apps. There are some gaps in one side of the figure, so it doesn't look a whole lot like a mini cassette.
Birdbomber is the flying cassette. Modeled after a large bird, this cassette has a nice transformation to bird mode. There is a great amount of articulation in the wings, and the head has some nice movement. There are two mounted cannons that can attach to its' back. The holes are not completely enclosed, so there are issues with the cannons staying attached. There are also gaps in the figure in cassette mode, and limited paint applications. The head recesses into the body, so it does take a little effort to get out. The color is nice and Birdbomber can combine with B-Box. Do note, there have been issues with getting 2 of the same side weapon for this figure. Each side has a opposite weapon, so do ask sellers and vendors to check the package to make sure you have 1 of each side. I received 2 of the same, and I contacted my seller who was able to send me a replacement.
The 2 cassettes can combine into 1 large robot, one forms the waist and legs, and 1 forms the torso, arms, and head. The figure combines well, and can store all the weapons, but the articulation is not all that great. Limited paint applications, and limited mobility, is this modes greatest weakness.
Final thoughts, I was able to purchase the set of two, for around $30.00 shipped. That is a pretty good price for the set of 2. They are nice representations of the G1 characters, and help fans to have Soundwaves complete set of mini cassette warriors. Small issues with paint, articulation, and the weapon issue, can be overlooked to have this as a nice addition to your Masterpiece collection. But do be aware of these issues, so hopefully you can enjoy them as I do.

The Cylon Raider is a marvel to behold!
I have been collecting the Moebius pre-finished models since they first were released. As a Battlestar Galactica fan, I've always loved the ships in the series. This current release does not disappoint. As a 1/32 scale model, this original Cylon Raider is huge in comparison to the the Colonial Viper. She measures over 17" from side to side and is beautifully detailed. I was able to get this for $50.00 cheaper than the retail price of $149.99, which is a little steep for a collector to pay, so if you can find one at the lower price, then jump on it. Moebius has continued to bring us fans of the original series, great models of the ships from the show. As a fan of both the original series and the re-imagined series, I'm happy to add this to my ever growing collection.
