take a chance
I have some daiwa basia reels that cost me £1600
I needed another set of reels but was not willing to fork out for another set of basias
I bought these for a tenth of the price of the basias
I really wasn't expecting much
They are heavier than the basias but as they spend most of the time on rod rests that's no issue
They look brilliant line lay is superb for the price you cant fault them for the £57 a reel i paid
I have not used them in anger yet just filled them with line I am really impressed
If you are looking for a large spool reel and you dont want to pay shimano daiwa prices buy these you wont be disappointed
The only drawback i see is if anything goes wrong with them can you get spares or repairs i dont suppose you get back up like from the big boys
