Full of surprises!
1 of 1 found this helpful Delivery: The DVD itself arrived later than I would have liked and it's shrink-proof wrap had been removed despite it being listed as 'New'. There was no visual markings or scuffs but still had a new scent to the DVD and clear plastic sleeve.
Contents of the DVD: The front cover looks simple and not visually appealing and could have been designed better however contains good value for money as theres plenty of special features included on the disk such as Deleted Scenes and Outtakes. The Behind the scenes is a hidden gem as it takes the time to focus on the actors opinions as well as bring the series together. Terry's Impressions clip is also a nice feature thats been included as it is now hidden from Terry Mynott's YouTube channel and for those who missed it first time round can now enjoy that little something extra.
8/10 for content and special features

12 Years on and still quality Doctor Who
1 of 1 found this helpful The on-screen chemistry between Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper works fabulously. Eccleston's approach to the Doctor is everything that a fan and viewer needs, his character traits fits with the war ridden back story that is presented. Piper's persona of unlucky in life Londoner Rose Tyler is such a delight to watch as you can see how she grows as an individual throughout the series. The writing is on point (as always) and is obviously dragging the classic era kicking and screaming into the new millennium. The boxset has been released several times from a limited edition TARDIS box to a newly released blu-ray steelbook, in total all 3 provide excellent pleasure when watching however if you wish to add this little gem to your collection then I'd highly advice you to find one on eBay that is cheap but not too expensive.
Overall it's nice little piece to add to the collection along with other series's and this isn't a series to be missed out!
