Savvy Show Stoppers? Keep Playing Them!
2 of 2 found this helpful Another good album from this band, it seems to be a collection of their Extended Plays albums released over their earlier times, with some added material. Having come into enjoying them only recently, it was nice of them to have a CD with all this material in it as one album, instead of my having to hunt all of these songs down (probably an impossible task, given that many of these songs are from the early 1980's). It does not stand alone as well as the albums "Dim The Lights, Chill The Ham", or "Sports Fishing" do, but nonetheless it was full of their typical humor, mixed with excellent music, making it a great companion to the other two albums mentioned.

Classic animal adventure tale (or tail?), great for the whole family.
A movie I saw once as a little boy at grade school the plight of the dog has always stuck with me. As a person who grew up a dog lover and a corgi owner, how could I not cheer him on?

Put In The CD, Hit The Play Button
2 of 2 found this helpful Having obtained a few of their songs from download sites, I came to enjoy the group's sound. It was both intense, yet playful, while combining a film noir motif with surf music (an eclectic mix I find enjoyable). There is also a nice sense of humor in this band, with songs being introduced with audio clips from Rocky and Bullwinkle, or a woman explaining to you how to use your radio bass and treble to improve your sound quality and listening pleasure. Finally, the CD has an extra song at the end entitled "You Just Bought Our CD", where the band thanks you for buying their CD, even as they make fun of the popularity of CDs over vinyl or audio tape ("You know, for the extra money you spent, we only make about an extra fifty cents..."). The whole album is a hoot, and I think it's the best of the three I've bought so far.
