Good kit but check it fits your vehicle
Looks a strong piece of kit. Package came with two separate metal sleeves and two bolts with no instruction what they were for, or what to do with them. The main problem with this product is it only has one clamp position for the lock to engage, instead of multiple positions. So on my Mercedes when I fitted it and tried to clamp it, it wasnt close together enough for the lock to engage. The cluch pedal is quite wide and the pins on the clamp prevented the clamp from getting any closer to locking. So a good piece of kit for many vehicles but no good for me and my motorhome, hence only a 4 star rating.

Excellent but not quite as described
I did a lot of research before buying this product and overall it is extremely good. I have a similar one that charges alkaline and rechargeables but the big advantage with this one is it charges the alkaline batteries to a higher power than my other multi battery charger, and much quicker too. I had no trouble slotting in the batteries (unlike some reports) and you get used to the red yellow green LEDs giving battery status. But I have two reasons why I have only given 4 stars. Firstly the product description says it charges AAA AA C D 9v and N batteries both alkaline and rechargeable - wrong. When you open the product the battery slots tell you that it only takes rechargeable 9V and N batteries, so you cant recharge alkaline 9v or N with this product (unlike my similar charger I mentioned which does alkaline 9v) Secondly - this charger does not have any USB sockets (unlike my similar charger). If this charger had both those features it would be a most deffinate 100% 5 star.

Good when new but poor for the long term
when it was new it was brilliant, lightweight and sucked up everything. we used it around the house and for the cars and all went well. It was so good it would need emptying half way through a clean. Now its a couple of years old and we find the connevctions have gone slack with wear and it keeps cutting out because the battery holder has also gone slack and it loses connection. It doesnt suck up so well but I dont know why as we ensure the waste container is emptied regulalry. With the frustration of keep cutting out we have started using our Sebo upright again, because it does what its supposed to do - suck up dust, even though its much heavier than the hoover stick. We bought a long hose extention for the sebo so it does the cars well, so I would be sceptible about buying another stick hoover - they are good when new but are not durable for the long term.
