It looks nice, but...

Made out of plastic , front lens has a RAM logo printed in matt black. After spending some of its shelf life in a shell case the black paint got polished here and there. Plastic case looks durable enough but I don't expect it to last long under UV light emitted by sun. Wires are short and pulled through the casing in an awkward way. I had to extend wires to get the thing connected. All in all, the plug is a head-turner.

Good size, okay picture, nonexistent sound.

My house has many TVs. But it happened that I need one more. Being a computer programmer for so many years I lost a significant amount of sight sharpness and won't agree on something smaller than 50". Average 55 was a compromise between a small price and unknown quality. 4K TV for that little money sounded good to be true. But it turned out to be better than I expected. Picture quality seemed washed out on default settings but manual correction made it acceptable. The only thing that is unacceptable is sound. It's next to nonexistent. But there's an easy fix for that: accompany this TV with a sound bar or a home theater and you'll get a decent setup for less.

good machine for the money

it does its job, although timer does not start automatically. i don't need it for my printings so it's fine with me.
