Comfortable quality
Comfortable on my big ears. Just enough pressure, not too tight on my 71/8 hat size head. Great clarity with decent bass and midrange and highs aren't shrill. Tone quality is not exceptional, but is very good. Volume definition is like a slightly closed door instead of wide open.... I like it because the sound is of a natural quality. Does very well on keeping outside noise from leaking in. Very long cord (maybe 8') which I like in the music room. Comfort and quality equals happy listener.

AKG Percetion 420 Professional Microphone
I decided I needed a better mike than my s57 for recording vocals. I have some friends who use a condenser mic onstage for vocals and acoustic instruments and decided to have a go. I have not been disappointed. I have had the mic for a few months and am very satisfied with it. I use it with my playing partner for recording practice sessions. We place the mike in front of a PA speaker and record on a Tascam. Just had to try a few placement positions and yahoo! Excellent results. I also use it for recording on my Emac via garage band. The sound is crystal clear and alive. I sing in midrange, usually key of G, F#, E. All original acoustic singer/songwriter with a R&R, Blues, Americana bend. With this mic I can sing naturally, with no forced effort, and it comes across clear as a bell. I accompany myself on an Ålvarez acoustic and, after a few placement/positioning test runs, I was amazed at the clarity, texture, and separation of both the vocals and simultaneous acoustic guitar Well done, AKG.

Sennheiser E935
I am a six string acoustic guitar playing singer/songwriter performing by myself and in tandem with another artist on a 12 string acoustic. This mic has proven to express a very warm tone and great clarity on vocals. Also excellent acoustic guitar mic. Had a problem with vocal feedback at higher levels in living room studio from monitor setup. Moved monitors from direct front to adjacent position and feedback lessened. Used as vocal mic at local venue with monitors close and had no problem. Love this mic ! Have used OM2 ( too thin), SM57 and 58 (lacked fullness and clarity compared to 935), Shure 87A ( great mic too... ) Am loving the 935 on vocals and 87A on acoustic ( I use an ART tube amp with phantom power switch for the 87A). My voice is on the bass side of the freqs and the 935 gives it its natural resonance. Very pleased.
