"The Reconnect Project is a not for profit and social enterprise that aims to close the digital divide. We refurbish pre-owned mobile devices and give them a new life by providing them to people in need, allowing them to (re)connect with family and essential services. The items we sell on eBay have been intentionally donated by businesses for the purpose of raising the capital to fund the cost of labour and parts to repair devices enabling us to give them free of charge and create training and employment opportunities in the local community."
The Reconnect Project is registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission ABN 50634550388 and has DGR 1 status.
