Again, buying a brand name like SanDisk is what you want to do.
This SanDisk Micro SDHC card is a quality product. I use it in my Android phone and it performs flawlessly. If you depend on your smart phone data this is the only way to go. I've bought cheap no name SD cards before and they have tested with high error rates. One unnamed brand 32GB card tested with only 7GB good!

Car UV-5R switching battery eliminator
I tested this on my UV-5R tri-power version and it works great. One important thing to know when buying a car adapter for your UV-5R type Ham radio is to make sure you buy the 'switching power supply' type battery eliminator. This type of battery eliminator is very efficient and does not overheat. There are cheaper battery eliminators out there but they are most likely 'linear power supply' type converters. The linear type is not efficient when converting from the car 12-14VDC down to 8VDC required by the UV-5R. There are some reports of the linear type converters overheating and the plastic case melting when transmitting for long periods. Testing the UV-5R transmitting in my car while listening to AM radio generated no switching power supply interference. Same results on the FM band with exception the UV-5R is a FM transmitter and may swamp the car FM radio front end with some minor noise (especially on the hi power ranges). The cigarette lighter style plug is rugged and fits very firm in the car cigarette lighter socket. Bottom line...it does the job of running off of car power saving your UV-5R battery for out-of-car mobile use.
