Similar performance for a fraction of the cost
Went to install and read the instructions on the box.....fairly straightforward but I did not realize that the new filter had protective caps over the inlet connections....once i removed those, no issues whatsoever.
had to purge air out of the filter (just like any other filter), so no issue there. i will definitely purchase additional filters, they are MUCH cheaper and perform exactly the same function.

Does an excellent job
1 of 1 found this helpful Simple to set up. It does a very nice job cleaning the brass that i've fed it. I've used corn cob media and was impressed with the cleanliness of the brass once i emptied it out.
For the money, I think it was an excellent value.

Exactly what you need
Pull magazine out of AR and insert the vise block in---locks in solid (the horizontal indentation is what locks into magazine release). Hit the release and the block drops out without issue.
Install the block in the vise and tighten (make sure it is positioned with the correct side up to lock into magazine release) and then lower your AR onto the block. You now have an easy way to clear your fully assembled AR without having to hold onto it OR build a new AR lower receiver.
It was inexpensive and works as expected. I bought two since I know one will go to my adult son. I am very happy with it and wish I had bought one sooner.
